Bey and Jay are the world’s highest-paid celebrity couple of 2016

Forbes magazine has just released its annual list of the world’s highest-paid celebrities and the carter earned more money than any other celebrity couple this year !
We know Beyoncé and Jay Z make a lot of money. But last time they were named highest-paid celebrity couple was back in 2013. Three years later, the dynamic duo is now back at the top. Several things helped the two stars reach that spot. Jay Z celebrated his music streaming service Tidal’s first anniversary and the platform is so successful that Apple might be interesting in buying it from Hova. Beyoncé on her side, has released her visual album Lemonade and has started a lucrative world tour.
According to Forbes magazine, who has just put out a list of the world’s highest-paid celebrities of 2016; Beyoncé and Jay Z’s combined income is $107,5 million. The singer ranks better than her husband Jay Z, landing the #34 spot with $54 million earned while Hova stands two ranks below with $53,5 million.

The release of Lemonade, Beyoncé’s album, has of course been a good source of revenue for the couple. Making it exclusively available on Tidal, Jay Z has seen the numbers of suscribers increased. A formula that the couple might reiterate in 2017, with the release of a joint album.
Music isn’t the only source of income for the Carters, Jay Z has Roc Nation and his luxury alcohol brands while his spouse launched Ivy Park, a sportswear line last April. See, working with the family is not too bad after all
